Scholar Programs
Making the O’Donnell Brain Institute a model environment for brain science and clinical care requires innovation – not just in the lab and clinic, but throughout our organization.
Our signature initiatives show how we put our beliefs into action. Focusing on the recruitment, education, mentorship, and retention of the brightest talent, these initiatives reflect our commitment to building our community, now and for the future.
Neural Scientist Training Program
The Neural Scientist Training Program attracts and supports exceptional trainees who are pursuing scientific careers focused on nervous system function. Our goal is to help transform early career trainees into established academic leaders through mentorship and funding, including two years of full stipend and tuition support, faculty mentorship, and translational opportunities.
Clinical Neuroscience Scholars Program
The Clinical Neuroscience Scholars Program provides talented, driven junior faculty with mentorship and support in advancing brain disease-related disciplines. The program includes a $1 million award to be used over five years, a senior mentor, multidisciplinary mentorship team, and advisory committee to nurture the scholar’s career development.
